Details Drypoint. Black ink on dark cream, possibly laid, paper. Butterfly signature on right. Over twenty impressions are known.

Not to be confused with the etching The Velvet Dress: Mrs Leyland the sitter here is Alice Fay Greaves (b. 1852-?) the youngest sister of artists Walter and Henry Greaves.
